Pace foods is a company-producer of a variety of salsas located in Paris, Texas. The company was founded in 1947 by David Pace when he created a recipe for a salsa he called "Picante" sauce "made with the freshest ingredients, harvested and hand-selected in peak season to achieve the best flavor and quality". Since then his company developed but sill uses the same receipt for souse, developed by David Pace 60 years ago. Pace foods is presented with dozens of salsa products. In 1995, Pace foods was acquired by Campbell Soup Company. Now Pace foods has the world's recognition for hot and spicy foods.
