My husband poured out some salsa onto his plate and a PIECE OF WOOD came out of the jar. It was clearly splintered from something and was luckily big enough to see before he ate it! We are disgusted by this! I reached out to the company and was told that they would send us mailing materials to return what we found so they can investigate and that they would include "coupons"! REALLY?! They lost a loyal customer!! Because who knows .. we may have ingested small fragments of the wood since we ate over half the jar prior to finding the piece!

I was eating a new jar of pace salsa and I had just purchased it a week before this is January 29th, when I bit down I felt something like sand in my mouth and a huge piece of glass. Going to doctor today to make sure everything is okay, I am terrified. The expiration is November 2023!!!

I purchased this Chunky salsa to go on some food that I had made. When I was putting it in my food I noticed what looked to be a large pice of onion. As I was eating it my food I started to choke and spit out a pice of plastic.

Chili stem left in salsa

Pace Foods - Chili stem left in salsa
We ar big fans of Paces Picante hot sauce. We recently bought a bottle that has several chili stems - we photographed one below. This has NEVER happened before - wondering if this was from a batch that did not get properly processed.

I have been buying this for years and it’s so watery now….it seems more like taco sauce now rather than salsa. I won’t be buying again :(.

Hot sauce blows

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
What happened? Your "hot" sauce used to be hot. Now it's like chunky ketsup. Stop making it. It's pointless. A complete waste of tomatoes and glass jars. Maybe sell the whole operation to Heinz 57.

Complaint about salsa

Hello I'd first like to say that my family and I always enjoy pace products. Unfortunately we recently purchased the pace medium salsa and it was definitely not made the way it usually is. It was overpowered with garlic I love garlic but this was nothing but garlic it was just horrible I think someone made a major mistake in the batch. I just thought I would reach out so the company is aware. Thank you

I swear it's watered down now...

Been buying it for years, but will change when I run out of this batch. You used to have to shake it out of the container - now you can pour it out. Realise companies are doing this to avoid price increases but this is supposed to be salsa - not hot sauce - I'd have paid the price increase instead. I'll be looking at what your competitors sell in future.

Gross item in pic Sante sauce

Pace Foods - Gross item in pic Sante sauce
Opened jar of Pace Chunky Sausa Mild and poured about 1/2 cup into dish. Ate most of sauce with some chips and was dipping rest of sausa out and put it on last chip and found in my mouth something that looks like a tooth! Couldnt identify it but washed off as much red sauce as possible. Closer looks like pic attached. Very hard substance much like a tooth. Gross.
